Terms of sale

Stays are sold by SARL IL CASTELLO, a limited liability company (SARL) with a share capital of 7 700 €, registered in the RCS de Paris under SIRET number 433 876 026 00025, whose registered office is at 128 rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris.

You choose a rental, dates and the number of adults and children, up to the rental's capacity. The total price and its breakdown are shown before you send the request: nights, cleaning fee, extra-guest fee where it applies, and tourist tax.

When you send the request, your card is authorised for the total price: the amount is held on your card, but not charged.

We answer within 5 days. If we accept, the total price is charged and the booking is confirmed by email. If we decline, or do not answer within 5 days, the hold is released and nothing is charged.

Prices are in euros, all taxes included. A booking's price is the one shown when the request is sent.

The stay is paid in full, by card, when we accept the request. Payment is handled by Stripe: we never see your card number.

At payment, your card is saved with Stripe for the deposit: €3,000 per villa, €500 per suite. Nothing is charged for it, before or during the stay.

If the rental or its contents were damaged during the stay, we may charge this card, within 14 days of your departure, the cost of the repair or replacement, up to the deposit. We first write to you with the damage and the amount. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment.

After those 14 days, nothing more can be charged for the deposit.

The tourist tax is due per adult and per night, at the rate set by the rental's town, including the département's additional 10%. Minors are exempt.

It is part of the total price, paid with the stay and passed on to the town. As it is only due for nights spent in the rental, it is refunded if you cancel.

To cancel, email us at casadigio20@gmail.com. The date of your email sets the refund, paid back to the card used for payment.

Villas: full refund for a cancellation up to 30 days before arrival; no refund less than 30 days before arrival.

Suites: full refund for a cancellation up to 14 days before arrival; 50% refund between 14 and 3 days before arrival; no refund less than 3 days before arrival. For a booking made less than 14 days before arrival, the refund is in full if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and at least 7 days before arrival.

To change your dates or the number of guests, contact us: the change is made by a cancellation followed by a new booking, or by paying the difference.

If we have to cancel a confirmed stay, you are refunded in full.

Under article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation provided on a specific date. A confirmed booking can therefore only be cancelled under the cancellation policy above.

Check-in and check-out times are in the confirmation email. The rental hosts no more than the number of guests booked; please take care of it and respect the neighbours.

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
