BONIFACIO AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

The Corsican gem where history meets natural beauty.

A historic town, breathtaking beaches, surprising gastronomy, and delicious local wine. Here is a non-exhaustive list of our recommendations to immerse yourself in Corsica and perfect your stay.

Bonifacio city

Bonifacio city

Bonifacio, Corsican gem, stands majestically on a limestone promontory by the sea, offering breathtaking panoramas. Its Old Town, located in a 9th-century citadel, reveals a labyrinth of picturesque alleys, while a small tourist train makes it easy to travel between the upper and lower parts of the city.

A historic city

Craft shops, open-air cafés, historic churches, and a romantic marine cemetery complete its charm. Visiting the citadel and descending the King of Aragon's Staircase, carved into the cliff, are highlights. In summer, Festi Lumi lights up the city, and don't miss Corsican polyphonic singing at Saint-François church for an authentic experience.
